Middle Tennessee

Nashville is the metropolitan center of what is known as Middle Tennessee. From as far north as Clarksville and south to Murfreesboro, middle Tennessee is a beautiful mix of urban, suburban, small town and countryside living that is unlike any other part of the country.

Just north of Nashville you will find the man-made Old Hickory Lake that is fed by the Cumberland River and various other waterways. Lakeside living is bountiful and many famous people call this area home. Water sports are a popular summer activity around the lake and Sumner County hosts one of the largest fishing competitions in the country every year.

On the northern edge of Middle Tennessee is Clarksville, home to the Army's Fort Campbell. South of Nashville you will find the fastest growing suburban area in the south around Murfreesboro. This area is home to a variety of upscale homes businesses.

Middle Tennessee is home to Dell Computers, Nissan and Cracker Barrel as well as a major distribution hub for FedEx, UPS, Amazon and The Gap.

On a short afternoon drive outside of Nashville you would see, horses grazing in open fields, large plantation style homes with acres of trees and waterways. It is a beautiful place to visit!
